Dr. Yadwinder Sarao
General Dentist
Dr. Sarao graduated from UBC in 2018, and shortly after, he purchased his first practice in 2019. He has been working as a general dentist ever since.
Dr. Sarao has a passion for surgeries, including wisdom teeth extractions, implants, bone grafts, and periodontal surgeries. He is highly skilled in these procedures and takes the time to clearly explain each step, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease.
He continues his education by participating in many study clubs and is committed to staying current with modern dental technologies and solutions.
Dr. Sarao is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC), and the British Columbia Dental Association.
Dr. Shefali Gupta
General Dentist
Dr. Shefali Gupta graduated with honors from Christian Dental College in India in 2010, where she was recognized as the Best Graduate. After moving to Canada, she upgraded her education in 2016. Dr. Shefali’s primary goal is to provide her patients with the best possible treatment options while helping them achieve healthy teeth and gums for life. She prioritizes educating her patients so that, together, they can achieve the best outcomes. Her mission is to create healthy smiles that bring satisfaction, confidence, joy, and improved self-esteem.
Dr. Shefali enjoys working with children and has a special interest in orthodontics, including both braces and clear aligners. She strongly believes in early intervention as an alternative to extractions and surgery. Dedicated to ongoing learning, she actively participates in study clubs and remains committed to staying up to date with modern dental technologies and solutions.
She is also an active member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC), and the British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA).
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shefali loves nature. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the scenic beauty of British Columbia and spending time with her family.
Dr. Robert J. Holditch
General Dentist
Dr. Holditch joins our clinic with over 40 years of experience in dentistry. He earned a BSc in Chemistry followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. After completing his training, he moved west to Kamloops and later to the coast, where he ran a successful dental practice in the Greater Vancouver area for many years, while also holding dental privileges at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Holditch is dedicated to excellence, maintaining a high standard of care, and pursuing ongoing professional development. With a deep passion for dentistry and a wealth of experience, he is committed to achieving outstanding results. Known for his compassion, he takes pride in helping others in need.
He has extensive expertise across all aspects of family dentistry and strongly believes in the value of continuous education to stay current with advancements in the field. He has completed extensive training in full-mouth reconstruction, dental implants, advanced root canals, oral surgery, dentures, periodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation anesthesia. Dr. Holditch brings professionalism, knowledge, and a caring approach to every patient, with the goal of providing comprehensive dental services tailored to individual needs.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Holditch enjoys recreational boating, fishing, golfing, cooking, fine wine, and a good cup of coffee. Most of all, he values spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his extended family and friends.
Dr. Neda Rastegarfard
General Dentist
Dr. Neda is an experienced dentist who earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2012. She immediately pursued advanced postgraduate training in periodontics, completing her specialty degree in 2015 in Iran. She has extensive experience in periodontal surgeries, including pocket reduction, soft tissue grafting, crown lengthening, and dental implant placement.
After moving to Canada, Dr. Neda successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada process and obtained her license to practice as a general dentist. As a dual-licensed dentist, she combines her specialty expertise with a full range of general dentistry skills to provide comprehensive care.
Known for her compassionate approach, Dr. Neda is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. She takes the time to listen, explain treatment options, and ensure patients feel confident about their care. She takes pride in delivering high-quality, personalized treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Neda enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Lillooet. She spends her free time walking, biking, and fishing with her husband.
Magdalena Nodzykowska
Denturist
Denturist Magda joined the Lillooet Dental team in 2021. She graduated from Vancouver Community College in 2011 and has been dedicated to providing quality care to her patients ever since.
For 10 years, she worked at a denture clinic in the Lower Mainland. When the opportunity to return to Lillooet arose, she eagerly accepted, moving back to the community where she grew up.
Magda is committed to continuous learning and actively seeks opportunities to enhance her skills. She stays current with advancements in denture technology to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.
She is fluent in both English and Polish and is a member of the College of Oral Health Professionals, the Denturist Association of Canada, and the Denturist Association of BC.
